  • Colt limited re release of 1903

Mixed feelings on this. I have a type 3 from 1916 and part of me thinks this is awesome. Such a great little pistol. I'd love to get a new one.. Also, now i can maybe find some extra mags for less than 90 bucks on ebay. Then the other part liked how discontinued the pistol was. Sort of like having a '57 Bel Air and finding out Chevy is going to release 2,500 brand spankin original spec new ones on the market. makes it a little less special i guess. Thoughts?

Too bad they didn't change it just a tiny bit, to differentiate it from the original. I'm not really a fan of complete re-issues, in any field, but then I've never had that happen with a gun I owned. Maybe it would be cool to have identical old/new ones? I did like the comment below the article that said, "Quick. Buy one before a Walking Dead character starts carrying one." LOL

Someone in that thread perfectly summed up my feelings.
