Anyone have a pair of gloves they use when carrying? I ordered a pair of these before I saw the amazon link here (sorry). Anyone have any other suggestions?

For the winter time I just use these http://www.amazon.com/Seal-Skinz-Wat.../dp/B000LWOZYE .

They have grip on the palms and are thin enough to use in trigger guards and waterproof.

Am I short stroking or going to fast?

I've been using these for a few weeks now to test them out, to see if we want to stock them. Similar to Mechanix gloves but better in my opinion - these have reinforced palms and knuckle patches. Nice trigger feel. Easy to manipulate the mag release, etc. Available in ACU Digital, woodland camo, black, and tan. Around $20. Anyone up for a group buy?

The ones I posted I only use in winter time. If your going to carry on you in the winter no point in wearing gloves that you can't use to properly operate your firearm with.

I love your manlyness! Real men don't need gloves.

I guess I am in the "less manly" group, fair enough, manly men can look away.

I was looking for a pair of gloves that I could wear outdoors in cold weather while carrying.
                          Order of features by importance:
                          1. Ease of use of drawing, firing and holstering while wearing gloves
                          2. Protective Factors
                          3. Fit
                          4. Warmth
                          5. Aesthetics

These gloves have an excellent fit, IF you follow the Hatch sizing guidelines. They are tight, but not uncomfortable, and have sufficient feel to be able to handle a firearm from holster, fire, re-holster with no complaints. The leather on the palm side is good quality, and not slippery. The back of the glove has a kevlar lining for protection, including fire up to 800F. These gloves are NOT warm. In fact, I think my hands are colder WHILE wearing them, specifically the back of the hand. Aesthetically, they are black and gray, short cuffed duty gloves.

I often wear gloves when shooting, but not always, but I could wear these in the summer while at the range, but I will look for other alternatives for wearing everyday carry gloves.
