I think that measurement is kind of misleading with the Glocks, the frame is actually wider than the slide. I know the graphic on the Glock site shows the measurement being the slide width but I watched some reviews where they note that the frame is actually the widest part.Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own

I've got an XDS in 9mm (same phyical size as the 45), it's a skinny short handled gun that is easy to conceal and I love it. I contemplated the XDS in 45.......while the Glock is much chunkier you get 10+1 vs the 5+1 of the XDS.
