Ran a few mags through the XDS while I was out at ORGC playing with the Swiss girl.
This is what your targets look like when you just "aim" at them from 10 yards away (the holes in the cardboard were already there, I was shooting at the targets...I'm not THAT bad of a shot):

Frustrated, I began to hear my Jedi Master Yoda speak to me (in a voice that sounded strangely like usmcveteran)..."The front sight, focus you must on it"
So, I concentrated on:
- grip and stance
- focusing on the front sight and ONLY the front sight (let everything else go blurry, trust me)
- holding the sharply focused front sight over the target and gradually increasing pressure on the trigger until the "bang" surprised me
Results (focus slipped on a few of the shots but all-in-all much better!):
