44 special is loaded down quite a bit from the mag round. might be some cowboy loads too which would be pretty mild but lead bullets.

Have you considered a trigger shoe? May help prevent getting pinched. I don't have any but the concept seems pretty basic - wider and flatter area for trigger pull.Ok I can go a couple ways

Here is some pictures for you I hope it is what you wanted?Originally posted by usmcveteran View PostWhen you go next hold it to rear until "the dust has settled" . also if you go with brother have him video tape your hands as you fire since they will be invaluable to troubleshooting your issue.
Seeing is always best, and it can be tough to self diagnose your own issues .
Another trick is to randomly load live rounds and snap caps, it makes you focus on basics and not anticipating recoil. I might just make short video with easg drills to fix different issues.
Here is the 44 magnum with the new grip I have on it now and also some picture where my trigger finger sits on the trigger,I think what happens is as I am pulling the trigger my finger slides down the trigger and that is when my finger gets pinched behind my 2nd knuckle..
Sorry for the blurry pictures I hope there ok..I know my left hand is not in the correct position as I was trying to give you a better picture of how my finger rest on the trigger before I would shoot..

I could probably could get away with a 52 inch shaft but if I could get a 54 inch shaft that would be great as I could always adjust the length of the shaft

That trigger shoe suggested above might help, I am thinking though that you don't wait and release trigger intenionally and if you released it slower you wouldn't have problem.
Does it pinch your finger when you dry fire?www.AvidArms.com I'm STIHL out of conditioner!!

Am I short stroking or going to fast?

I'm guessing your releasing trigger without a pause during recoil causing pinch, try holding trigger to rear next time you shoot and release when sites fall back on your target.www.AvidArms.com I'm STIHL out of conditioner!!
