I was looking at this one https://www.amazon.com/Vaultek-Bluet...s%2C112&sr=8-5 .
Seems to have good reviews and like the fingerprint sensor but also alerts when someone is tampering with it or opens it can be sent directly to phone.www.AvidArms.com I'm STIHL out of conditioner!!

Personally i'd avoid the biometric. I'm a fan of number combos, seem to be the most reliable.
Does it have to be a safe? That little one won't be after it for a while at least. Any other solutions to consider? I have a couple Alien Gear wall mounts at home and in the cars that I use for the Shape Shift setup. You can stick a wall mount under a desk, behind a headboard, I have them on my truck knee bolster.
The handgun stays in its hard shell, and gets clipped into either my drop leg holster or one of the wall mounts. They're not the highest quality duty rigs, but they work for whay I"m using them for.

Cabela's electronic safe pistol vault is a no go. Opened once with back up key, mounted it, now it doesn't open even with back up key.

I mounted my biometric Baska safe under my bed. It works well....in the summer...... if I haven't been doing and woodworking or construction projects. If I've been doing any work that roughens my hands, it becomes a hit or miss proposition. In the winter my hands dry out and it usually takes me a few tries to get it to open.
I think some of the Hornady biometric safes offer multiple entry options, and that would give more reliable access than a safe that only has the biometric option.NRA Life Member

I think she's seen too many movies regarding the combination safe! Lol. But I agree, I wouldn't get one with a dial that you may need quick access to in the dark.
The electronic push buttons are basically impossible to guess. A 5 digit combo has 90,000 possible combinations. And many safes will "lock out" for a period of time if the wrong combo is entered too many times in a certain period.Sticky Lips at High Noon!
