Guy definitely doesn't understand the step where you actually look into the chamber after pulling the slide back without a magazine in place. Dumbazz.

Can somebody provide the cliff notes I couldn't get through the drivel. What I did get through had a decidedly anti-gun tone to it though.

And what's this got to do with Guns, Mischief and Mayhem anyway, lol...

        Guy buys gun
        Guy has two mags
Guy pulls surprise inspection on himself as to how clean the gun was after yesterday's cleaning
Guy puts both mags at the end of the table while he's at the other end disassembling gun
Guy starts procedure for take down
Guy has gun go off and makes another stove vent
Guy Peshittas himself and is deaf in his left ear from it
Guy remembers that he had bought a THIRD magazine the day before this surprise inspection. LOL

I read it. the guy is quite funny the way he describes his debacle.
IMO bottom line the error was not that he forgot his third magazine but that he forgot to visually inspect the pistol before he proceeded to fire to disassemble.
But bottom line everyone gets an AD. It is not a matter of if but when if one shoots long enough. But hopefully this would be at a range pointing safely and not at the house.
At least he is being honest about it.

It is a shame when people demanding tolerance, have no tolerance

I read the whole thing too, it's a valuable lesson that we all need to be reminded of from time to time.

My favorite line (he bought a .45): "It shoots bullets as big around as a ****ing frying pan"
Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own

I have to bend over too far

                I get a boner.

bareback every couple of days, GTG. Bareback, brokeback, same $hit!

I joined a support group to help me deal with my social anxiety but I just can't seem to work up the nerve to go to a meeting......

Got the vast majority of the way through it. Bottom line is if you get lazy and nonchalant when handling firearms, bad Peshitta happens. You just hope it's not TOO bad.

                    Here it goes...
Some here know me and they know I would not hurt an animal unless was harvesting game with intention to eat it.

Take a few seconds and look what happened to this pastor....

I have to confess similar thing happened to me once. I found one on a parking garage indoors and it looked scared and
didn't look hurt so I took it outside and in good faith toss it towards a close by tree thinking the little guy is going to spread
the wings and sing free at last!, free at last!!
So I prepared for the launch. Took a bit step backwards gave it a big push with my long arms and there you go!!..
Well, to my surprise the darn thing didn't open the wings and hit the tree like if I had thrown a well wrapped BLT sandwich at it...
I started to think about the little guy sweating bullets at the launch site and then at lift off and as I was propelling him in the air and as his wings were unable to deploy perhaps he was saying... Son of a b!tch!! .. ahhhhhhhhh ...lmao.
I am used to hunting and gutting beasts but I treat animals and mother nature with lots of respect.
So it was kind of disheartening at the time but now I can laugh at it, I guess.

I forgot the ordeal didn't end there. This was a small park and there were two dogs a German Shepherd and a Golden Retriever. After they saw the little guy crashing in the tree and naturally assisted by gravity and bumping through the branches found its path all the way to the ground. At this point the two hounds proceeded to immobilize the little guy and following their natural instincts. Being city dogs they were not to clear what to do next but after a short struggle and scuffle I could see the bird was on its way to a better place. Essentially the bird became the new toy for the day during the dogs outing.
I felt really bad for the little innocent guy but at least the intention was good.

I think I am going to hell anyway.
