  • just added Heritage Rough Rider 9 shooter to the play

Purplish/green Saturday sale for me Felt like adding an "old school" westerney revolver to my mix.I always said to myself "self, why do people spend money on .22lr pistols??" in my eyes their not a bodily protecter if you carry them (yea the right hit will kill a buuuut) so here I am buying a .22lr revolver. But for me it's just the fun of plinking,(now I really gotta get more respectfulness in my .22 quantity) so for me no biggie as my 9mm, .38 and .32 are my Carries. I Did it through Buds, as I have in the past with no probs. now the waiting game then come the pics. $175 shipped. yeeeeees pics will come, no need for the "this thread is blah blah" LOL

Any gun is better than no gun in a gun fight.

But to each his own, I hope you enjoy your new purchase and have many good shooting days.....

Nice addition. The 22lr can be an effective defensive round. With training one can score pretty tight and w.o the recoil makes people confident to put rounds on the head one after another. Some are scary accurate. We talked about this in defensive pistol drills when people bring them to try and we get countless head shots. Those mean thread neutralized if you see what a 22 pill does to the brain.
Some 22lr rounds are brutal like they are on varmints. So the it is just a 22 myth is just that, a myth. Perhaps is one of the mos versatile rounds in the world as demonstrated by outdoors experts and survivalists.
It is a shame when people demanding tolerance, have no tolerance

I lied..LOL. I just changed my order to Chiappa 1873 10 shot 22lr/22mag 173$ shipped. after hours of reading all kinds of reviews and youtubes, I figured might as well pay 2$ less and get it in both cylinders..only range shooting anyhoo figure it'l be fun to have both (and a good spare)
