  • Bought a Glock 27

Just bought a Glock 27 from a friend who is dieing from cancer. Trying to think up ideas to do with pistol. Maybe cerakote or hydrographics . Some to do with him and colon cancer.

    Any ideas or suggestions?

Damn sorry to hear about your friend. G27 was the first pistol I ever wanted even before I had my permit. Never got one though. Had a G26 which is similar but sold it. Prefer the size of G23. Good luck with gun. Ceracote is always nice when done right.

      Thanks.

Not sure exactly what I want to do but thinking of incorporating a blue ribbon. Maybe his initials and "F U C K Cancer" or something like that on the slide.

The gunsmith I shoot with did the cerakote on my 1911, but I'm not sure if he'd be a good one to do text and more creative stuff.

The guy from Gadsden Arms has been at the past couple gun shows and he seems to do some nice looking creative cerakote work.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend. It's a cool idea to turn his pistol into a tribute.

There is a place local that does this kind of stuff I've been meaning to stop over at by airport. Wasn't sure if you all knew anyone else.
