I can remove the AIWB holster and slip the belt hook over the edge of the panel under the steering column for the exact same effect in my vehicle.

I would avoid any kind of magnet system. It isn't going to retain a pistol during any kind of accident. My AIWB works pretty well for in vehicle access.

I'm not sure exactly how my vault will look but thinking about doing something similar to what this guy did, might have mine with barrel pointing down though.

Appendix carry....problem solved.

My first time trying appendix carry yesterday. Certain aspects of carrying this way didn't occur to me until I was standing in front of a urinal.

Single hook holster? I just slide the rig over to @ 2:00 and take care of business. If this doesn't work with your rig you could always just sit down to take a leak.

I'm just using a cheap Uncle Mike's holster with the J frame. Guessing it doesn't put the gun as low on the waist as a true appendix holster.

it's a pretty comfortable way to carry once you get used to it. The thought of accidentally blowing a nut off only occurs to me every once in a while. I just take some deep breaths and reassure myself that it's unlikely to happen with a double action revolver.
