  • Skyhawk 9mm

Anyone heard of this revolver before?
looks nice and interesting. Is the purpose of short barrel to fit in pocket easier?

Definitely pricey though! I think retail is 1,699.00
www.AvidArms.com I'm STIHL out of conditioner!!
Finally joined the ranks of broke homeowner
Am I short stroking or going to fast?

Everything Knighthawk makes is expensive. Looks like a sweet snub if you've got the money to burn.

Edit: I've read articles warning against the use of 9mm revolvers. Apparently most 9mm ammo isn't crimped to handle the recoil of a revolver. If the bullet unseats from the case it's no bueno.

It became pricy when Night Hawk got involved. Korth had originally produced a 9mm revolver they called the "Sky Marshall". I believe that they still do. However, it would not meet the import requirements. Sort of like what happened to the Walther PPK which resulted in the PPK/S. I was all ready to grab one and the price was reasonable. Especially for a Korth. I believe MSR was $1,000.00. Actual purchase price would most likely been a tad less. It is a dedicated 9mm revolver. Not a .357 modified for 9mm. First hint is the length of the cylinder. 9mm from the get-go.
So Night Hawk made an arrangement to lengthen the barrel to get it to meet import requirements and in the process added considerably to the price.
I would really like one but not at their asking price.

I couldn't find either for sale yet either to confirm what they are going to actually charge

You will not find the Korth Sky Marshall. The Night Hawk iteration is available but rather scarce I guess.

Yankee Marshall has a video that shows this in action. He actually had one revolver/ammo combination the had a round come completely apart before he managed to fire all 6.
