Mag Guts springs and followers

Anybody try out the Mag Guts magazine internals?

I've got the typical spring issues that the S&W Shield mags have where they start to bend and then won't lock the slide back on the last round. I know that S&W will send me free replacements if I contact them, but I'm very intrigued by the Mag Guts kits. I normally carry 7+1 with two additional 8 rounders for backup. I'm thinking of extending the 7 rounder to 8 to keep the flush mount, and then extending the 8 rounders to 10 as it only adds 1/4" in overall height to the mag.

no experience but for that price they should give the entire magazine in either 8 or 10 versions IMO.

I run their zero length +1's for my 380 BodyGuard, gives me an extra round without a longer mag. I''ve got a total of 5 mags converted, hundreds of rounds through them without a glitch. Two thumbs up!

Yeah, I know they're expensive. But I love my Shield. I've already got about $150 into the full Apex kit, another $120 into Tru Glo sights and $20 more inTalon Grips. It's a continuous improvement project to make sure that my EDC is the best I can make it.
