  • The AK thread!

Here it is..... The project of all projects. This is my 7.62x39 Hungarian underfolder parts kit. (amms AK63D). Over the next couple of months or more i will be building this beast.

First let's talk finish: I don't feel like de-populating the barrel so i may just do a black bake-on finish on all metal parts (not trunions or BCG) to get a 'uniform' color.

Receiver: Rivet build. Not sure if i'm gonna get a completed receiver or bend one out myself. TBA

I'm very super excited to be doing this. Kind of a 'dream come true'. Any and all questions, comments, concerns, hints, tricks and tips welcome!

That is a NICE looking bunch of meat!

I can still find a use for my thumb, even though it no longer has a hole to finger.

I could have been enjoying his nuts.

Nice! .. I think some of the 80% with the internal rails already Spot welded and all heat treated make sense as they save lots of time and potential headaches.
when I am done testing the 357 gunner I might do one in this round, either a 10" pistol or a 16" carbine. I have been thinking about a slant cut on the reciever and machine a small adaptor to take the remington 870 tapco stock that I love. Also the handguard that I can make it free float. Very easy and functional mods.
It is a shame when people demanding tolerance, have no tolerance

            couple of questions.

Who has experience with TOTHTOOL.com products?

Would a dremel be effective enough to grind off the old rivet heads?

Great project, looking forward to updates.

(How cool would it be to actually buy and own an AK-47? God I hate this fukking state.)
Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own

I have to bend over too far

              I get a boner.

bareback every couple of days, GTG. Bareback, brokeback, same $hit!

I joined a support group to help me deal with my social anxiety but I just can't seem to work up the nerve to go to a meeting......
