NYSRPA puts SCOTUS push for SAFE Act repeal on hold

"According to a report by the NY Daily News, the state Rifle and Pistol Association isn't pursuing its case to stop the New York SAFE Act. The group has decided against petitioning the Supreme Court to hear the case following the death of Justice Antonin Scalia."

"While the group says it wants to move forward, its lawyers say the decision could end in a 4-4 split -- leaving the law in place."

I don't entirely like the decision, but I think it was smart to pull back.
