  • Firearm Friendly Laws! Utah CFP Course ~ Hudson Valley ~ Greater New Paltz Area

    Utah Concealed Firearm Permit Course
    Gardiner Firehouse
    Gardiner, NY 12525
    Saturday - March 19, 2016
    12:30 – 4:30 pm

    Registration Fee: $125

To Register or for Further Information, please call Nancy: 914.475.5286
    or E-mail: LadyInstructor.NY@gmail.com

Included in your registration fee: Utah required handout material of the curriculum; fingerprinting, passport photo and copying services; application and pre-addressed envelope.

Utah application processing fee of $49, and the postage to send your application back is not included in the fee.

The Utah permit allows you to legally carry your firearm in 30 states; however, it does not allow you to carry in Florida or Pennsylvania.

If you need a Florida CCW Permit, applications will be available at the class (free). If you have already taken a safety course, one that is available to the general public offered by a law enforcement agency, a course that is offered by a public or private institution or organization or firearms training school that utilizes instructors certified by the NRA, any NRA firearms safety or training course, are current active or retired military, or you have taken any hunter safety course approved by the DEC, you are pretty much good to go for your Florida permit. HOWEVER…..you do need to send a copy of your “certificate of completion” or similar document (from any of the above) with your application. The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Division of Licensing has the final approval for the acceptance of training certificate(s). If have any questions about the Florida Non-Resident Permit, please call their Division of Licensing: (850) 245-5691 or visit their website: http://mylicensesite.com

If a PA permit is needed, you must go to PA to apply in person. It is advisable that you first contact the sheriff’s office for the county you wish to apply in. Not all PA counties issue non-resident permits.

A husband and wife team that are NRA Training Counselors and are certified by the State of Utah, Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Criminal Identification, teach this course together as a team.

Hey there, welcome to the forum! No need to post the same thread in multiple sections, we're small and will see it in Today's posts. We can even give you your own section within the Vendor forums if you'd like. We can also put up your business in our ad rotation. We just need an image file with your ad. USMCveteran can let you know the technical details.

FYI - guys my gun club forwarded e-mail for the UTAH class and I invited Nancy to check us out and post the course here.

Anyway, always glad to see new members, just let us know if we can help with anything. Great group of people here!

Welcome Nancy! Utah, Florida, and Pennsylvania seem to be the big 3. I'm in Western NY, got mine with the help of Dave and crew here at Rochester Personal Defense. Anybody in the Hudson area considering UT and FL should jump on this, the UT has to be given by a UT sanctioned instructor and there aren't a bunch of them around.

Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own

I have to bend over too far

      I get a boner.

bareback every couple of days, GTG. Bareback, brokeback, same $hit!

I joined a support group to help me deal with my social anxiety but I just can't seem to work up the nerve to go to a meeting......
