After getting his azz handed to him, the governor of VA struck a deal with state repubs to reinstate reciprocity for almost all states dropped by the previous legislation. Under the deal, the state would take guns away from anyone who was under a two-year protective order for domestic-violence offenses and State Police would have to attend all gun shows to provide background checks for private sellers if they requested the service. (note: " private sellers if they requested the service"......private sales still do not require a BG in VA).
Things are back to where they were before the VA attorney general proposed dropping reciprocity. You folks with FL or UT are still GTG in VA. It's nice to see affirmation that the 2A remains a hot button issue and that we are in the majority (contrary to what the left keeps saying).
