I hope this passes. It's already law in NY, so it doesn't affect us any more. What better way than to bring the wrath of Free America down on the Federal .gov. We need more allies in our fight. SCOTUS won't be able to ignore it any longer.

This seems to go far beyond unSAFE -- e.g., all ARs and AKs by name regardless of features, semi-auto shotguns with a pistol grip or more than 5 round capacity, confiscation of "high capacity" mags, etc.

I think it's going to be a horrible year for gun rights, ownership, only one year left for BO to fundamentally change America by Executive orders, the omnibus sellout by the establishment republicans and the lack of desire of the Republican Party (just an illusion) to oppose the executive branch.
