Not that it will ever pass, but if it did, that would just drive more business out of NY.

    What a joke...
"I ask, Sir, what is dinner? It is the whole chicken. To pluck the chicken is the best and most effectual way to prepare them."
    Colonel Sanders

That is a NICE looking bunch of meat!

I can still find a use for my thumb, even though it no longer has a hole to finger.

I could have been enjoying his nuts.

Just buy more mags, if that doesn't work the last resort would be more guns.
I must say I love beavers.

They want it so bad, they can pay for the house I choose in a state I choose and they also have to cover ALL costs incurred with moving and I'll GLADLY sign up!!!

I have a question though ... since my Marlin 60 holds 18rds and a SMALL box of .22LR is 50rds ... OH WAIT .... COMMON CORE!!! I get it. FUAC!!!

                    Fvcking idiots!

Who do we contact about this? Local senators only or also congress?

Local news picked this up, I really hope that the average Joe understands how utterly fukking ridiculous this proposal is (but I fear he doesn't). http://www.whec.com/news/stories/s4007608.shtml

                        Looking at this realistically:
                        - ammunition is not sold in odd lots (for instance I could only buy 16 rounds every 3 months for my 1911.....ever see a 16 round box of ammo?)
                        - violating the law will be a class E felony punishable by up to 4 years.....how are they going to track purchases? (they have already determined a database is not feasible at this point)
                        - what about those of us who reload? Will I be breaking the law by possessing more than twice my gun's capacity or by simply buying more than twice my guns capacity?
                        - how will they determine how much I am allowed to buy in the first place? I could have a 7 round, 8 round, or 10 round magazine for my 1911 and the registration form does not note capacity
                        - I am just thinking about handguns, what about long guns? Except for NYC, they are not required to be registered and the state has no way of knowing what and how many I have.

These dumbass liberal broads downstate are soooo damn clueless. On the other hand, as I list these questions I realize that there is absolutely no way this legislation could ever fly, so I feel better now. Thanks for listening.

You know, I just got to thinking: The proposal says "twice your gun's capacity" but guns don't have a capacity limit, the amount of ammo your gun can hold is determined by the magazine's capacity. So............
