Is it just me or does this sound like they are going to register rifles like pistols? Law doesn't say that though.

As I understand it, semi-auto's will be "registered" to your "semi-auto license"......just like pistols are registered to your CCW permit. Think about it: it's the only way they will be able to verify that a semi-auto rifle in your possession was legally purchased.

I'm just sick of trying to put in the effort to keep on top of all this nonsense. When the SAFE act came out, I read up and tried to get an understanding of everything. Now I'm both out of ****s to give, and super slammed at the new job so i don't have the time. If I'm going to be the SCOTUS case, then so be it.

Personally I think New Yorkistan has zero intent to actually prosecute any of these cases. They're just going to let the law sit in the books to have a chilling effect on 2A rights. A certain percentage of the people just aren't going to think it's worth it to jump through the hoops so they'll go without. Any case that they actually attempt to prosecute will provide standing to fight the law, and just making it a big hassle for everyone is probably going to accomplish Hochul's goals.

Basically the same as unsafe act 1. Has anyone actually been taken to court on safe act offenses? They don’t want it in court

Here is why they will not Prosecute, Willie
Once a Law sits for 7 years unchallenged, it can not be challenged for Constitutionality

How long were slave laws or segregation laws on the books before they were overturned? I'm having a hard time believing that you can be deprived of natural rights because of some sort of time limitation.

I have email out to county about process to get rifle license. I'm not going to pay to exercise my right nor will I take training as I feel it's unconstitutional via the latest supreme court decision. If they say milita training is in our history I'll show them my dd214 and ask for my license . Also registration of firearms isn't in our history either.

An LEO I know said that he could probably arrange an arrest so someone would have standing, but it looks like a judge would have to agree to actually pursue the charges. If a good court case is going to happen, it would have to happen in the right district with the right judge. It sounds like FPC is already looking for people who have standing.
