    Looks like y'all gonna be needing to apply for a license to purchase or transfer ANY semi-auto rifle (not just AR's and NO rimfire exception). Better go get that 10/22 asap before the legislature passes this one.

            The Federal gun law package is scheduled for a forced vote tomorrow (Thursday), I would like to think that there's enough representatives worried about keeping their jobs that the nonsense will not pass.

            That said, this thread we're in now is referring to a NY state law being proposed that will require a permit to purchase /own ANY semi-auto rifle (even 22's). It currently sits with the Codes Committee, no vote has been scheduled yet but you guys should keep an eye on the progress of this one.

            Let's hope SCOTUS issues opinion on the NY permit case within the next week or so and slaps down all this BS infringement crap.

                      Trump told ATF to ban them via Executive Order but the language has yet to be amended into BATFE regulatory documents....hence the "loophole".

                      Do you have bill handy? Just curious to read it. Wondering how it effects current guns, if there needs to be inspection done so often in case of stamp wear, etc
