    Your favorite gov just signed the law: sale or possession of unfinished receivers by other than lincensed gunsmith is now a criminal offense.

    Legislation S.13A/A.2666A Enacts Scott J. Beigel Unfinished Receiver Act; Prohibits Possession and Sale of Unfinished Frames or Receivers

    "Legislation S.13A/A.2666A prohibits the possession of unfinished frames or receivers by anyone other than a licensed gunsmith or dealer in firearms."

    (I wonder if C&R is exempt as a "dealer in firearms"?)
