  • 60 round limit on ammo purchase for any compliant or registered "assault weapon"

You NY boys should probably hit this one (or move the f uck out of NY):

    https://www.newyorkstatefirearmsasso...n-control-pet/

"For purposes of S. 314, anyone who has a legally registered AR-15/AK-47 styled rifle from before the SAFE ACT, or for anyone who has bought a SAFE ACT compliant rifle since that time (featuring a pinned mag,) you would be limited to buying 60 rounds of ammunition for that firearm every four months"

"violating S. 314 is a Class E FELONY, which comes with a seven-year jail sentence if you are convicted"

With the current ammo scarcity, there are people who would be happy just being able to find 60 rounds of ammunition every 4 months.

Jokes aside, the same state that couldn't get an ammo background check system up and running sure as heck isn't going to have the capacity to monitor how many rounds of ammunition people buy. Plus, I'd love to hear what kind of common core math and pre-school level thinking these boneheads used to come up with limiting people to 60 rounds every 4 months. Exactly what is this supposed to accomplish even under the most hardcore anti-gun philosophy? Why don't they just come out and say "we just want to pass this idiocy to hassle the only people it will impact: law abiding gun owners".

    Praying things get better.

Another illegal law if it passes. I doubt it would though but you never know.

Every day now it seems like my news feed has a new shooting in it. So the Dem controlled media is definitely trying to set them up for big gun control measures.

New ATF regs leaked regarding definition of "receiver" as well as requiring FFL for sale of and NICS check for purchase of 80% receivers (which will need to be serialized, of course).

To be release for public comment in the next couple of weeks, we'll need to hit this one HARD!

Why do I feel that this is only in regards to 5.56 ammo, and maybe .223? Since ARs can be built in nearly any caliber on the planet, this law is ****ing stupid.
