Looks like Biden is going to be using his pen and phone tomorrow at some point. That phone call is going directly to the ATF. The National Review is saying at least one EO will be around ghost guns. Not sure if anyone knows what else he has planned.

Kind of interesting that they're calling it a "gun violence public health epidemic" given the current situation with Covid. In some ways, using similar language would suggest the government responses to both are equally illegitimate.

I'm tired of so called "common sense" gun control.

What is "common sense"? I'm going to assume the definition is something to the effect of most people agreeing with something. Well besides the obvious that it's not how government and law works look at it another way...... Racism and segregation was "common sense" at one time just like slavery was.
Just because something is "common sense" doesn't mean its right.
Why can't they do poll taxes or ask for ID when voting yet require ID and for you to pay taxes when you buy firearms? This is preventing those in groups that have a higher need for self defense from being able to defend themselves and exercise their 2nd amendment rights.

In fact maybe we should subsidize the gun industry to make firearms and ammunition more affordable and accessible?

This administration and the democrats aren't acting in good faith on gun control. Looking back at history democrats fought to keep slaves and we're directly responsible for slavery. They have been in control of states and cities that negatively impacted minorities more then those controlled by republicans and again there gun control laws are disproportionately effecting the black community.

Exactly! The supreme court is the only thing that isn't controlled by the democrats, it's all they need to implement their ideology.

I heard on the radio the other day Cuomo giving a speech and saying something to the effect that you have to imagine the reality you want then work hard at making it happen.

This commissions job is to arrive at a predetermined conclusion. However the work that needs to be done is to justify it by saying how this time matches or exceeds the reasons from past. Then throw out the whole line about how optics and politics be damned, this is a crisis blah blah blah.
