    Biden's Proposed Regulation of MSRs

    Odds are that Biden is going to try to implement his firearm plans by directing the ATF to create or change rules to implement his desired changes. Lots of reasons this is unconstitutional, and if Biden isn't successful at packing the supreme court, these ATF changes would likely be struck down. Who knows how long it would take to do so or what kind of havoc plays out in the mean time. But, a silver lining could possibly be that Biden's overreach could end up being the demise of the NFA....? Probably just a dream, but trying to stay positive.

    Joe Biden is proposing to force owners of assault-style rifles to either sell their firearms through a voluntary buyback program or register them with the federal government under the same law that was first used to strictly control sales of machine guns in the wake of the gangland shootings of the 1920s and '30s.

    I'm curious to see how things play out here in New Yorkistan if Biden actually moves forward with this. Would the state hand SAFE act registration records over to the ATF?

    Who cares if they do? Nobody I know was dumb enough to register theirs.

      Some people did, and if the state hands over the list to the ATF, it will be the death of all future state level registration schemes.

      I've talked to a few people who registered, and the one just said "we've all registered our pistols, so what's the difference?
