As of last count today, 77 of 95 Virginia counties have passed a sanctuary resolution. Molon Labe muthafuggers!
I hope these VA lefties are prepared for a huge red wave at the next election cycle. I'd also be willing to bet that this is not going to be the slam-dunk legislation that bloomy and the Governor thinks it's going to be: There is a large population of democrats in the VA general assembly that have been voting anti-gun with impunity because they have always known that the heretofore Republican majority would not let said legislation pass. Now that these "red" dems are going to have to be accountable to their constituents for voting any future anti-gun legislation into law (the very same constituents that have thus far voted 81% of VA counties into 2A sanctuaries), I'm thinking that they are going to ponder long and hard about their careers before doing so. Time will tell....
I'm hoping that other liberal representatives in traditionally gun friendly states such as KY, GA, AR, etc. who may be considering the introduction of anti-gun legislation are thinking twice as they watch this uprising in VA. I also hope that the VA liberals come to their senses and accept the reality that We the People will not stand for this crap....Last edited by thughes; 12-14-2019, 07:43 PM.Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own

I was just watching a Liberty Doll video update, it seems that in order to deal with all of the Sheriffs who have come out against this gun banning, there is now proposed legislation to rewrite existing state law that will redefine LEO's as "public safety employees" and make it mandatory that any such employees not following all state laws be fired immediately and barred from seeking employment for at least 12 months. So....the immunity of being fired by the governor because they (the sheriffs) are an elected official will no longer apply. I'm kinda hoping the governor actually tries to use the national guard to enforce these laws. When the sane guys these laws will be punishing get tasked with enforcing them..... and refuse, maybe it will force some thoughtful introspection among the anti-gunners about how ridiculous their position really is.

On the upside, this mobilization scenario provides the ultimate example of why the Founding Fathers insisted that the citizenry should be entitled to own the same arms as the military (yes......even grenade launchers, missiles, and helicopters).
If the Guard gets called up, I'm sure there are thousands of patriots in other states who will be rushing to VA to stand with the citizens there. Imagine a Bundy ranch type scenario but on the grounds of the Capitol in Richmond......might even have to put together a good old fashioned tar and feathering! Things are bound to get really interesting after the first of the year.Last edited by thughes; 12-15-2019, 12:56 PM.Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own

it was encouraging to see the support that Alex Booth received

While exactly what happened with Whiskey Warrior incident is still being sorted out, it did give us a glimpse of two things: how fast word travels about gun confiscations, and how many people are willing to mobilize immediately to make a stand.
Personally, how fast word traveled didn't surprise me, but people mobilizing immediately did.

On Tuesday, December 10th, the Board of Supervisors passed two different resolutions. The first resolution declared the County to be a Second Amendment Sanctuary. The second promoted the order of militia in the county. When the resolutions passed, the crowd cheered loudly in support of the decision. And they didn’t squeak by–the votes were unanimous, with more than 200 citizens standing by in support.
That is where the militia resolution is in place. County Administrator Erc Young laid out their thought process: “Our position is that Article I, Section 13, of the Constitution of Virginia reserves the right to ‘order’ militia to the localities,” Young said. “Therefore, counties, not the state, determine what types of arms may be carried in their territory and by whom. So, we are ‘ordering’ the militia by making sure everyone can own a weapon.”
If the Governor or any other State entity tires to remove their Sheriff from office for disobeying unjust laws, they’ll face a legally assembled group of armed citizens standing against them.

I have been saying this for years. Entire regions, territories and even counties are subject to the tyrannical laws of large cities with their brainwashing agendas.
Sort of what the Caesar wants from Rome is going to be the law of the land in the entire empire. In the end didn't work so great for them, did it?
It is a shame when people demanding tolerance, have no tolerance

Virginia: County Board of Supervisors Forms an Active Militia
Tazewell County, VA
On Tuesday, December 10th, the Board of Supervisors passed two different resolutions. The first resolution declared the County to be a Second Amendment Sanctuary. The second promoted the order of militia in the county.
The militia ordinance also calls for concealed weapons training for any county resident that is eligible to own a gun. Further, it called for the local public school to begin including firearm safety classes.

Hell yeah! They're done f ucking around in VA, Molon Labe!!!!
Virginia – Monday morning, Law Enforcement Today reported on how Tazewell County, Virginia is crafting a militia to defend the Constitution in the state. And within hours, we were flooded with thousands of emails from people across the state – police officers, veterans, and patriotic Americans – who said they are joining. And it’s a movement that’s gaining traction across the state.
