We all know the unsafe act requirements are clear as mud, it appears that the gun grabbers in CA are amending their version to clarify things so they don't face legal challenge down the road. Things like what exactly is a legal means to reduce magazine capacity (epoxy and a rivet), what length shotgun shell is used to calculate capacity of tubular shotgun magazines (2 3/4), etc.

I must say that the NRA can go f uck themselves.....asking for "money to fight the oppressive gun laws in California" (and I have told them so in no uncertain terms just recently when they called me soliciting donations). Fat lotta effort they put forth for us NY'ers 4 years ago, screw 'em!
"The NRA and CRPA have been fighting to preserve your freedom to protect yourself and your family in California for decades. With Donald Trump's victory in the presidential election and the potential for a strong pro-Second Amendment Supreme Court, it is time to go on the offensive with lawsuits challenging the ill-conceived laws created by the Legislature and Proposition 63.
WHAT EXACTLY ARE WE PLANNING?

WHAT EXACTLY ARE WE PLANNING?
- Legal challenges to the bans on so-called "large capacity magazines" and "assault weapons", as well as to the most egregious aspects of the new ammunition restrictions.
- Monitoring CA DOJ’s proposed regulations implementing the new laws and challenging any improper ones in court.
- Continuing to grow the grassroots structure that was created during the election year in counties across the state, which will allow for more influence at the local and state levels of government."
