Believe it or not they can put back into functioning use after a proper proof test lol. They just have to be derusted and polished back to white and they have been made into beautiful firearms

Remember it's black powder at 120 grains with a 69 caliber ball in a 75 caliber barrel I'm not entirely worried about the test fire lol

The way I look at it one from veteran arms is 600 plus shipping for just a little more time and money I can't build a authentic Brown Bess and I'll be ahead monetary in the long run.

The video makes it look like it has less kick than I would have expected. It's been so long since I've shot a black powder rifle that I don't remember if it had much recoil.
