Don't know anything specific about De Quervain's - in fact never heard of it before today. I looked it up and it seems that it's in large part inflammation of the tendons in the wrist/thumb. Not a doctor nor do I play one on TV but I take turmeric extract for inflammation and it seems to work well.

I have Lyme Disease that went undiagnosed for a couple years causing pain primarily in hands and feet. Thought I had arthritis. Swelling in finger joints became permanent changes. When finally diagnosed I went through a couple courses of antibiotics to kick it but pain remained in joints. If you do some research you'll see turmeric is used widely for inflammation. Can be expensive at health food store but better option IMO than meds. Give it a shot.

Edit - while this was going on I had quite a bit of discomfort in my hands and feet. Felt like I had a marble in my shoe. My index fingers seemed to get the worst of it and was very uncomfortable to practice support hand only shooting. Difficult to even pull trigger let alone smoothly. Each round would be painful. Better now though not gone. That Lyme's is a *****.

Thanks I'll have to look into that.

I have issues in that hand/arm already with scar tissue. I had surgery and it all came back in two weeks. Also have a lot of extra tissue on palm next to thumb that restricts me from touching thumb to palm by pinky

If you have issues with scare tissue, I would suggest you look into laser treatment to help fix that.

My scar issue is internal, can laser treatment fix that?
