I believe the only center console accessories available for your car are designed to hold fly fishing gear, bottles of patchouli oil, or whatever lesbians carry around.

That's precisely why I like mine. I don't need to exit the vehicle and expose my gun while locking it up. I can reach the safe while sitting in the drivers seat, and secure everything without moving. Window tint hides it all.

I am 100 percent opposed to leaving any firearms in any vehicle. Sorry but in my experience it is a very bad idea. Ask Randolph Holders family how it affected their lives.

Sometimes it's unavoidable for us ordinary citizens if we want to comply with the law. E.g., dropping off mail at the post office, going into to the town clerk, PD, etc. I'd rather leave it in the lockbox in my vehicle for a few minutes than not have it for the rest of the day.

Yea I'm not talking about leaving one in car all the time but if I have to go someplace I can't carry then I need it for that.

I'm not trying to be a dick but what about law enforcement? How many have rifles in trunks or shotguns up front when they aren't in car and the shotguns are usually visible?

USMC, You are absolutely right! Law enforcement is the worst at this!!! It drives me crazy, but when you say something to other law enforcement officers you get dismissed by them as if you have no idea what you are talking about. Drives me heffing crazy!!!

I hate the logic that people dole out about leaving firearms in a vehicle is inherently bad. I don't see the difference between a car and a house. Either way a criminal is going to have to by pass a lock and open or remove a safe. How are these two things different? I don't see it. Either way the law abiding citizen has secured his firearm and a criminal as broken property to steal other property. Somehow this is the victims fault? Yup still not buying it.

I am not saying you are, I entertain how everyone feels and speak about how I feel and how I conduct myself. I have had discussions about this on several forums and because it is a sensitive topic just like open carry, background checks, and in home storage are people get heated about it and I am just trying to avoid people getting heated with me and feeling I am trying to impose my feelings on others. I will not do that. Not my style.

Thanks! I appreciate your viewpoint and for me I would feel bad if it wasn't locked up but by locking it up I would feel better.
