    Hahaha
    Crystal mek uhh?!

    Jimbo,
Whatever it is this is 1000 times healthier than smoking.

I thinknthe 1st conversion is cool but it is a commitment. It is not really a conversion but a new platform that happens to use all other parts.
The 2nd is not as cool but it is totally reversible. Not sure how good the mags are.
I also saw one that had an adaptor for the regular receiver but not sure that one made it market. There also great alternatives to the remington.
In a tactical situation these beat any tube fed because of the time to reload.

In this case i would take anything automatic that can be reloaded by magazine and you have calibers that could load several bullets and even buckshot in a rifle cartrige for cqb. This vs shotgun since the semiautos with magazine are a nogo in this chitty state.
It is a shame when people demanding tolerance, have no tolerance

But I wanted to make the most evil featured gun ever

Good point about the second one being reversible. I like having options and they have a box mag now for the sidewinder. They're pretty proud of the box mag by itself at $66.
I could be wrong...it's happened before and it'll happen again.

Biggest drawback to any of these rigs is that you can't top off during a fight (no tactical reloads). That's a deal-breaker for me.
Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own

I have to bend over too far

        I get a boner.

bareback every couple of days, GTG. Bareback, brokeback, same $hit!

I joined a support group to help me deal with my social anxiety but I just can't seem to work up the nerve to go to a meeting......

Just got back from wally world looking to spend a gift card (not on anything firearms related) and asked the guy at the gun counter what Mossy 500's go for these days. He said $467 regardless of gauge and model...yikes!

On the way home I had another thought. I don't have anything small caliber for the wife or anyone I might want to introduce to shooting. 12 gauge and 7.62x39 have a bit of punch for a beginner. My wife will not shoot the Mossy, lol! And I would like to have something she would be comfortable shooting if she ever wanted to go with me (as soon as I join a range, haha!). So, maybe effort would be better spent looking for a .22 of some sort.

Can't go wrong with a rimfire for teaching the wife. Electronic ear muffs might help keep the communications from getting tense too.

Anyone have any experience with the Mossberg 702 Plinkster? Decent price and looks nice in wood furniture.

With all due respect Jumbo, no self respecting firearms enthusiast doesn't own a 10/22.

Oh great. Yet another inadequacy issue I'll have to deal with.

Don't waste your money on a 702, they're garbage. Get a Ruger 10/22, no firearm collection can ever be considered complete without at least one.
