yeah, being too picky makes it tough. we definitely had to make some compromises but still am happy with where we are ending up.

We actually put an offer on a house last night. We both loved it and filled the paperwork out right after. We both think they won't accept it, but it doesn't hurt to try.

The house is set up so that I could put the safe in the basement, so bonus points for asking this question. It certainly appears that the basement is quite dry, so it shouldn't be an issue (hopefully).

Ditto. Grab one of these at Weggy's (pure silica gel), pour @ half pound in a knee-high nylon stocking, tie the top in a knot and hang it in the safe. When the crystals turn blue just spread them on a cookie sheet and bake in the oven until they turn clear again..............lifetime supply of desiccant for less than $15. Works in ammo cans, etc, too.

Does this contain any non-rechargeable crystals?
