  • Cowboy guns

So, I traded one of my many SKS's for a Marlin Lever gun a few months ago. I've always wanted a lever gun and the trade got me a first year production 1948 Marlin 336 in 30-30 Winchester. I recently picked up a Heritage Rough Rider 22LR revolver from Classic, had absolutely no need for it but at $129 I couldn't pass it up. Got to the range today and did my best "Duke" impression......had a ball! Reckon I need to get me a horse now......

Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own

I have to bend over too far

    I get a boner.

bareback every couple of days, GTG. Bareback, brokeback, same $hit!

I joined a support group to help me deal with my social anxiety but I just can't seem to work up the nerve to go to a meeting......

Sweet! Once I'm done with my 10/22 I'm doing a Winchester 30/30 project.
I bought my sons out of state.

Nice looks guns. I love the 336. I really like cowboy guns even though I dont have anny. Probably because I think I would lose interest in them just trying to punch paper. They really need to be shot at a cowboy shoot or at steel targets etc. Someday I'm gonna get a few though. I want a cimmaron 1873 really bad.
They can't stop us let them try. For heavy metal we will die!!!

Snowflakes are great!!! You can roll them around into a giant mass and shove a carrot in their ........

Bye the way - the Marlin looks really good.

Pffft, thats a gun that wishes it was a Winchester. Just like my Norico wishes it was a Russian! Nice looking gun though, that grip style looks more comfortable than my Winchester, wood shines more too. Wish you lived closer I got my cowboy hat and some steel targets I'd challenge you to some cowboy shooting.

If I could have gotten a Ruger for $129 I would have been all over it; for the couple times a year I might get this one out of the safe to play I can deal with the bargain model. The Rugers are sweet but too much coin for a niche toy.
