Which gun do you wish you could get back?

We've all bought, sold and traded guns. Which one do you wish you could get back?

Mine is a Stainless 7.5" Super Blackhawk 44 Mag I used to hunt with in the 80's. It was Magna-Ported and had the action done as well. I put a Pachmeyer grip on it to help with recoil. Man that revolver was a shooter!

I finally picked up a Super Bisley Hunter 44 Mag last year to replace it, really nice gun and it shoots great, but I probably should have gone with the regular Blackhawk and put a Pachmeyer grip on it.

Why do we trade good guns we should hang onto?

Once it's bought and paid for, it stays with me. (I just have to keep buying more safes)

Not one I got rid of I'm like thughes, but one I couldn't get my hands on. I wanted to get a monkey gun but NYSAFE fixed that problem.

I'd still like to find one of those Ruger 44 Mag Carbines to add to the collection, and even though I just sold the same rifle I keep looking at the 30-30 for sale here - LOL

Marlin lever gun in .444 Marlin; 16" ported barrel topped with Leupold 2-7X variable with thick reticle. Sub-MOA with anything I fed it. Buffalo Bore loads would kick hard and smear the head-stamp a bit, but were very accurate and extraordinarily powerful.

Unfortunately, this list could be "legend" for many - should have never sold anything I had in the safe.

About the same time I sold the .44 ( along with just about everything else I owned during the Black Friday Divorce Sale), I sold a Stainless S&W 6" 686 .357 that I'd love to have back.

I picked up a Ruger GP-100 5" a year or 2 ago and it's a damn good gun, but I don't shoot it as well as the 6" Smith so Im probably going to look to sell or trade it on another Smith or Ruger 6".

I guess my eyes just aint what they used to be!

I have a stainless 686-3 at my ffl now waiting for the county to approve my amendment. It is a really sweet gun. I can't wait to set her free.

Dan Wesson 715VH from the 80's, FN FAL from the 80's, Detonic Combat master from the 80's. I know who has the FN and the Detonics, they won't part with them.

When I first left the Army I refused to collect unemployment and literally sold all I had. I wish I never sold any of them. FN FAL, AR with no named lower and custom556 upper, and an Adams Arms 7.62x39 piston upper, Ruger 10/22 with tan archangel stock. I came as close as having it boxed up and taking it to the PO, UPS and Fed Ex places and being told I couldn't ship it which was complete BS but end of day I still have my RRA post all this BS crap. Glad I never sold any.

I got to shoot both trading with guys at Blue Mtn, I'd love to have either one of those guns. The Dan Wesson 44 mag I shot was like Butta.

If I kept every handgun I once had, I'd have over 150. Now down to less than half that.
