Anyone a member of PCFGA? (I believe there are). I sent in a request for membership a few weeks back. I sent both an email and a letter via USPS. Is it customary for them to acknowledge receipt of your request or is it radio silence until they call your name? I know the membership chairperson is a volunteer position and they must have a lot of requests so I don't want to be a PIA and keep asking about my status. Anyone with knowledge of the process please let me know. Thanks.

Gunsick is a member. I submitted written request as they asked too, back in August. Radio silence still, but I emailed them last month after ladder13 filled me in when i met him and he said new people are running it and trying to workout the back log..allthis was posted in similar thread at NYF from him and others. Pretty much a waiting game. He told me he thinks I'll get a call for March or April newcomers orientation cause they're about getting caught up with applications from July. that's all the info I got for ya..but definitely ladder13 knows his Peshitta about it from the people that took over and the last meeting from Decemberish.

I am a member and they never confirmed they got my request for membership. Just a call out of the blue one day. They do have a new membership person and are trying to catch up. Any info Ladder13 knows is on the up and up. Great to hear you guys want to join!

Just got my scheduled to appear before committee letter YAY! March 12th for me

From August til now it took. So anyone after that date, should be seeing it soon.

Nice to hear that things are moving along. I only sent my letter in in February so if thing keep progressing like this I may get a call by the end of the summer. Hope it happens.

Update/ i had to contact them to postpone til next Month, i have to go to my little Sisters Weddin rehearsal that night! Man waited 6months for this letter and it had to land on that one friggan day?! They were cool and said I'm already the 1st one for the next screening.. technically I'm not in a mad rush for next week anyhoo, let some of this 4 feet of snow disappear 1st then i guess

I went to the 3 orientation meetings and decided against joining. It didn't feel like it was going to be a fit for me, so I'm sticking with Blue Mtn and Wooster. Nice enough place though, I used to shoot there 25 or 30 years ago with a buddy when I lived in Carmel.

May i ask..what was your deciding factor?? You knew the 450$ and have shot there and went to 3 meetings. Was it the people rubbed you wrong?? Just curious cause im damn happy at woosters 150$ a year never pay again ways but PCFGA is in my backyard
