  • SHOT Show 2015

Is there a "general firearms" forum that I didn't notice? This seemed like the best place to get things started.

Looks cool. Brass hits the scope. Wonder if it will really catch on.

Why wouldn't they just mirror it? Then it wouldn't catch brass.

MIRROR IT! CLEVER PUN FOR THAT OPTIC!

but seriously, flipping it over or mirroring it would get it really beat up against your chest rig, etc. by those operating with it mounted on a regular basis (right handed anyway).
just my opinion based on running with an ar with a single point sling all day.

Ah good point. I hadn't thought that far through it.

Or maybe rotate it up 45 degrees from where it is.

BUT, since getting hit with spent brass doesn't seem to effect it, I'm just being an engineer that can't leave well enough alone. lol
