A while back I bought a Ferro Concepts Slingster 2 point sling for one of my rifles. More recently, I randomly noticed some photos on Instagram that showed Slingster slings with neat little elastic covers on the adjustment mechanism. The covers looked like they would prevent metal on metal contact between the adjuster and rifle. I didn't keep track of where I saw the elastic covers, so when I had a moment to investigate purchasing one, I couldn't find the pictures again.

I sent Ferro Concepts a message through Instagram inquiring about the covers. A day later I got a message back saying who to contact at FC about the elastic covers. After I had already had this interaction with FC, I figured out where I had seen the elastic covers on Instagram: No Quarter Tactical Solutions. So I had inquired with FC about another company's accessory. Oops.

I got an email response from FC saying that they don't currently produce such covers for their Slingster, but have made something like that in the past. They said if I was interested, they could make one for me. I responded saying I was interested and asked how much it would cost. I just got an email response from them asking for my shipping address. I responded with my shipping address and asked how I should pay. Their next email response said that one is in the mail for me and "Merry Christmas".

I'm sure this wasn't a very expensive little item for them to produce for me, but the fact that they took the time to respond to my inquiry and actually make the piece is pretty incredible. I'm guessing they even knew which company's product I had seen that sparked my inquiry, but still helped me out. I'll definitely be buying more products from them in the future.

i just have a relatively cheap item from them, but it's top quality. that's awesome that their CS is so good too. will have to check out that sling, i have a couple different VTAC/BFG slings that have worked well. they have a plate carrier (slickster) i've thought about running for the games if i ever have the extra funds and they are actually in stock.

In stock is key. A lot of their stuff seems to be perpetually sold out these days.

That's awesome. I have some Ferro products, including the slingster. Excellent sling, high quality. Its actually on my list to get one of their adjuster pull tabs and see if it will work with another brand sling I use from First Spear.
