I saw the article and was thinking "yeah, I think the smart scopes with built in ballistics programs are pretty dumb, and this is just another reason to avoid them."

Let's just not talk about the ballistics calculator and shot timer apps I downloaded onto my phone.

There's a dude that shoots my matches at ORGC that has an adapter on his spotting scope to attach his cell phone. Not sure if this is the app he uses but it is pretty sweet: I can see his hits through his spotting scope when I'm 10 feet behind the firing line. Never thought about the fact that .gov is spying on our shiiiit. Fukkkk!
