HK In Financial Trouble

The other day a friend posted this article about FN on Facebook.

I commented on his post that FN products are pricey, and that this could be another Colt kind of story where relying too much on government contracts leads to business trouble.

My guess is that SIG stepping up their game and putting lots of effort into winning government contracts might be changing the marketplace a bit. It will be interesting to see how FN navigates this situation. They don't make any firearms I get super excited about, and I can't afford their products anyways. But, it would be a shame if such a big name in the firearms industry went under.

The funny/scary part is that after my brief response to the article on Facebook, I got an email from 'Hanover Research' asking me to take part in a survey about "how I purchase FN firearms". Apparently big brother saw my FB post.
