    AR Lower

    Ok, I may be buying into the hype a bit, but I'm debating jumping on a new lower, either -15 or -10, before the Peshitta officially hits the fan in NY. The problem, I've never bought a firearm online, and the only lower I have was gifted to me, back in the pre-"safe" days. How does one go about buying online?

    Local Rochester FFL that will do a transfer? Joeboboutfitters had some blems for cheap last week or so, and I may go back and jump on it.

    PSA was selling their Mad Dog Mattis lowers for $50 and now I'm really kicking myself for not ordering one.

    My understanding is that if you order online you need to have your local FFL info so they know where to send it. The other option is to go the 80% route and have it shipped to your door.

      Any local FFL's that will transfer them? Edit to add: without charging an arm and a leg

      JBO has Matrix Arms blems for $35.

          Tom Van Doren in Henrietta is someone that I have used many, many times
          I will see if I can find his contact info, as it's been 10 years
          you buy it, it ships to him, you take possession at his home

            I assume, especially with an in-home, it would be wise to contact them before purchase/shipping?

                Give a call or shoot Frank a note at Klubfunstore (he's a long standing table-top FFL located in Henrietta), tell him you're one of the Sticky Lips regulars and were recommended by Todd Hughes. He'll explain the process (and he's already listed with a majority of on-line dealers. He charges $25.00 for a transfer).

                FWIW, he may even have lowers in stock for a good price, I got one from him a year back for like $35.

                  I 2nd 3rd and 4th Frank. You might pay Frank a few more bucks for the lower but no transfer or shipping fees. And you keep a good local guy in business

                      I’ve been wanting an AR10 for a while now but I hate to admit I’m a little afraid that cuomo will ban them or something very soon. At my LGs and he had a Troy PAR in 5.56 but can get it in 308 also. Price is around 760

                        Camper: Go through Frank. You wont be disapointed. Just dont get a polymer lower, make sure it's forged aluminum.

                        GTN: Just get the effin AR308 already. You know you want it. You wont sleep until you get it. You only live once, and SAFE II is in the mail. If you want to just get the lower for now at least so you have it, I'll help you build it when you get the rest of the stuff.
