Just took NRA Rifle Instructor and this subject came up. Apparently NRA policy has been no "humanoid" targets for quite some time. Shoot Center Mass. Works for me, black, white or purple or whatever the threat may be... Stop the Threat. Color doesn't matter. My two cents.
