  • So beautiful

It's really a thing of beauty.

Got it a stack on safe for Christmas with the intention of keeping little hands away. We were finally able to get it home today.

I think I have the same one in my bedroom. Be sure to bolt it down.

Bolting down isn't happening in this house. I have hardwood floors and there's no way I'm screwing it down. I may attach it to the wall though, once I figure out for sure where it's going in the bedroom.

I do plan to throw some
shims at the front to keep it angled back a bit in the mean time.

Nice! Is that the cabinet or a true safe? I've got 3 of the cabinets in my bedroom, same scenario here with the hardwood floors. I didn't bother bolting to the walls either, lets face it....you can pry one of those open with a large screwdriver so it really wasn't worth drilling holes in the wall.
Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own

I have to bend over too far

        I get a boner.

bareback every couple of days, GTG. Bareback, brokeback, same $hit!

I joined a support group to help me deal with my social anxiety but I just can't seem to work up the nerve to go to a meeting......

I'm more worried about the kids being kids and doing something so it falls on them. I do have it sitting on a piece of carpet so it doesn't damage the floor, and it's passed carpet so I'm hoping the padding compresses a
bit and it's not as wobbly as it is
          now.

I also took a small piece of weather stripping and put it near the latch to take up the slack so it doesn't rattle when the wife stomps past it in the middle of the night.

It's just a cabinet. I have a big Sentry safe in the garage that I'll be able to use once we have a new house.

this may, or not work out for you ..
there is nothing wrong with the Cabinets, you just need them out of view
most crooks do not desire to spend a lot of time robbing you, it's "grab 'n go"

I put two in a deep closet, they have the cheep-azz Lowes fake wainscot paneling over the 2x2 partition wall that conceals them
I used velcro, so's it's not a pain to get at them
I just pull one side of the panel, and it swings out

Our house is old with tony closets: standard hangers are too wide to fit into the closet straight.

This is cabinet is 100% just to keep the kids' hands off te guns without permission.

I'm itching for a new house so I can use my real safe, and keep the cabinet for "incidentals".
