  • Hello, and Welcome

Fortress Consulting Group - who are those guys? Please check out our website here - www.fortressedge.net

There are a bunch of us like minded guys and gals who got together to formalize what we (think!) we are good at. In a few short weeks we should have some biographic information on the website.

For now, if you have any questions fire away, and thanks for stopping by.

    Lower Hudson Trainer (Andrew).

    Welcome!

How long is your tactical casualty care course and what types of things are covered in it? Are there any pre requisites or is this something anyone could benefit from?

      USMC,

We recommend that participants sitting TCC already have 1st AID/CPR, but it is not mandatory. I will DRAG my TEMS/TECC instructor over hear in hopes he'll sign up, in addition to (me) posting detailed answers to your questions later today.

Awesome! Just an idea but if you get around to it you could create some threads for each of your courses with whats covered so people can ask questions and you can post new dates for them as they become available.

              USMC,

To fully answer your question, TCC is 16hrs long. Speaking only for me personally, if someone came to me without a background in .mil, security, EMS or LE and had NO first responder or 1st aid /CPR training, or did not have a background in patient care I would direct them towards a basic 1st AID/CPR course.

              LHT.

ps, thanks again for the warm welcome (back) folks.
