I'd like to share my experience with BudsGunShop.com. A little background first. I recently moved to Columbus Ohio from New York state. I'm enjoying the freedom that comes with living outside of an anti-gun culture. Looking to purchase my first unrestricted firearm I ordered a Walther PPQ 5" (that comes with a 15 round magazine). Shortly after the order was placed the status was updated to "Call Customer Service". I did so and was told that Buds can't ship my gun to Ohio because I failed to change my billing address with them to my new Ohio address. I apologized and offered to update it. No go. Not good enough. The entire order had to be canceled. I was pretty irate and asked to talk to a supervisor. Still no good. Order canceled.
I looked around to see where else I could order the gun and noone had a price even close to theirs. I swallowed my pride, logged back on to their site, updated my address and placed another order. In a few days my checking account was charged. 10 days pass and my FFL hasn't seen the gun. I log back on to Buds and see that my account has been revoked by an administrator. Huh? So, I call the help line, wait for an operator, ask for an update on the order, get passed to a supervisor. Here's where the fun begins. Since I got irate on the last call, they canceled my account! No kidding. I asked why they charged me and the super REFUSED to answer the question. He went so far as to claim that I hung on them the last time. That's why they canceled the account. Yes, they're refunding me now but I imagine that if I never called they would have kept my money.
