Console Vault Initial Review

I just received and installed the Console Vault in my 2013 Chevy Silverado.

It was really easy to install. I had to remove and replace 2 screws (included) inside console and also take usb connector in console out of it's socket. It was pretty easy and I would suggest undoing bottom clip before top one .

Pros:
Easy to install
Seems secure
Lid opens automatically when unlocked and stays open by itself.
Easy to change combination.

Cons:
You do lose a decent amount of space in console.
USB cover not attached to safe so you can easily lose it.

Yes it's solid, with lid open I tried pulling it out and it didn't budge.

Just added another con. The USB cover is not attached to the safe . So you could easily lose it. It's the small rubber piece on left in picture with safe closed.

So today I realized that if I leave the vault unlatched while driving you simply have to open Console for quick access.
