So I was in bank today getting lien release letter. One of the employees there just bought a new vehicle themselves. They also first went to doan for a great internet price on a vehicle to be told it was wrong as well.

25k for a brand new Silverado 4X4 LS is nuts. Somethings odd here, Dealers would be crazy to be intentionally pulling a bait and switch stunt this obvious. It'd dry up their customer base in no time. Doan is a large dealership family that's been around a very long time. I'd honestly be shocked if these were intentional.

The issue I have is that they know about issue and do nothing to fix it and by their own admission happens every month. In fact the ads for that price are still up.

The price in ad is fleet pricing with the rebates as well.

Dealers don't run their own sites, it's all a backend company that maintains it. The dealer will usually have a designated Internet Manager that just inputs the cars in a point/click interface like eBay. If it's a recurring issue then they need to get it fixed, but it's not a conscious effort to lure people in with BS pricing
