So the other day I found an ad for 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 LS with double cab and tow package for just under 25k . I emailed them and the confirmed price at 26k roughly.
Yesterday I get email saying the truck I wanted was sold but I could still go see manager today and they could order similar truck at similar price for me. So I said yes l still go see manager and she confirmed my 10am appointment.
So today I get there around 950. The manager I had appointment with isn't in today. I show them the ad which is still on site last I checked and they said it was an error. I showed my emails when I confirmed price with specific vin number. They said she made a mistake and there website made a mistake.
After waiting they said the best deal they could do was for $36k on a better truck blah blah blah.
Is it just me or are they pulling the old bait and switch? Needless to say I left and have a bad taste in my mouth for waisting my time after confirming all details in email before going.
ETA:
They said this happens every month . Not sure why they haven't fixed the issue yet. End rant.
