                    Thugly, any ideas on what/how hold the shells? I have a chewbacca bandoleer, but what is appropriate for this class? just left cargo pocket?

                    Any excuse to get another Oloongopo product just brings me to tears...of joy.

                        I've got Esstac cards (http://www.skdtac.com/Esstac-Shotgun-Card-p/ess.106.htm) and velcro on the receiver but never got comfortable with using them (I'm a lefty so a lot of techniques just don't "work" for me). Plus it seemed kind of silly to spend timing loading up the cards with shells only to slap the card on the side of the gun and immediately yank all the shells back out of the card to stuff them on the tube.


                        I used to have a nice shell carrier mounted on the gun but found that the rear corner of the mounting plate would rub a hole in the top of my knuckle after several hours so I scrapped it (another lefty problem)

                        My solution is as dwa posted above: I've just use my trap bag....I can dump 50+ rounds in it and feed the gun from it pretty efficiently.

                              The student packet that was emailed sez:

                              A serviceable shotgun and cleaning/maintenance supplies ï‚·
                              300 rounds birdshot (we will be shooting steel),
                              25 rounds 00 buck shot,
                              10 slugs
                              Shell carrier system to include belt mounted, shotgun mounted, dump pouch or other
                              Sturdy shoes and weather appropriate clothing
                              Ear protection & eye protection



                              I still gotta get the Buckshot.

                              I have the belt/bandoleer from Field and Stream....was somewhere around the $8 mark, also @ Dicks.

                                Also in that packet...VERY CONSPICUOUSLY is noted HANDGUN NOT NECESSARY. Does that mean we should bring one (transition drills?) if we have one?
