Brand New AR15 Match Barrel.
Caliber 6.5mmBR. (6mmBR Norma necked up to 6.5mm).
20" Krieger 5R in Stainless Steel - 1:8.5 - Heavy to Medium profile. .74 standard gas block.
Muzzle Threads 5/8x24
Bolt is ARP Superbolt Series 800 headspaced to the Barrel.
Barrel is brand new never fired.

It feeds flawlessly from AR15 6.8spc and 6.5G. magazines.
All you need to add is a set of 6.5BR dies and then you are ready to reload and go shooting.
Popular powders like Varget, CFE and H4895 work great with this caliber.
This Barrel launches 123gr Lapua scenar and 123gr hornady vmax at 2,750fps avg so it is very flat
shooting for hunting and long range. It shoots flatter and further than larger cartribes like the venerable 308 Winchester but in a much lighter AR15 platform.
6.5BR cases will last many reloads with proper care and barrel life has been excellent.

Here some ballistics information.

The scenar and amax bullets hold 8.8 mils at 1000 yards with plenty of speed and energy.
At 300 yards it retains more energy and speed than a 123gr AK47 carbine at the muzzle.
With 125gr partition hits like a lighting bolt for deer, bear or whatever.
Pretty remarkable what you get from an AR15 with less than 32gr of powder.
This is possibly one of the most efficient rounds one could fire from the smaller AR15 with
a simple neck up of the cases (easy to load brass) and w/o going into the AR10 heavier platform.
