Hang in there man. Find something positive in this and build on it. Sure it sucks you didn't get it but you made it to the final 2 candidates. That is worth something. Be sure to send a handwritten thank you note to everyone who interviewed you and that you would still like the opportunity to work there in future . You never know when something may come up and they will remember a personal note. Now find and start pursuing another opportunity. Each step will bring you closer to something even if you can't see it yet.Ok I can go a couple waysComment

Well said Calculon. WM, this experience furthered your knowledge, and introduced you to people you didn't know. The handwritten note will show them they made the right choice narrowing it down to the other guy and you. You will show them it didn't knock you down, nor did it make you resentful.
