Works fine btw. That 'issue' I had was user error :banghead:

Come on over and we'll plink in the yard.
Do not want a co2 gun.
If I thought I would use it enough, I would splash out on a pre-charged pneumatic rifle.

You just want to be able to say you use PCP

This^^ The Gamo whisper are fairly quiet.

I have a Gamo Big Cat that I like very much, and itisn't terribly loud, but if you live in a residential neighborhood it'll definitely annoy your neighbors. I got rid of the cheap piece of crap scope that came with it, and used a Simmons 4X32 that came with one of my 10/22's. It's a pretty good shooter.

I am no expert in PCP guns but it seems the benjamin discovery is a good value for a starting package. It is light and it comes from the CO2 but it runs on lower pressure air...

This guy seems to have many reviews... His rings are too high and possibly not the best scope for this type of gun. Look as the aftermarket sound
          dampening tube.

Here is more about this gun...

It is a shame when people demanding tolerance, have no tolerance

IMO this is another very good way to go...humm perhaps the best way to go. ... you even have an amazing upgrade from an old used Crosman 160.

Cheap gun, cheap ammo, 10 round maurader magzines and up to 400 shots per tank with other options like paintball tanks.
Cannot beat the cost yet they are popular and seem pretty decent performers. This takes away some of the PITA factor of airguns
but with very reasonable costs and even upgrade as you go.
